Reverend Wilkins is one of the Assistant Pastors of Oil Of Joy Ministries II, Inc., under the leadership of a dynamic and much respected woman of God and a true friend, Apostle Patricia Wiley. She was ordained by God and Apostle Wiley in May of 1995. She has been a member of Oil of Joy Ministries since its onset in August of 1991. She is the treasurer of the ministry as well. Through Oil of Joy Ministries, she has and is continuing to learn what it means to "soar like a butterfly".

Prior to her membership in Oil of Joy, She was a member of New York Christian Life Centre, under the leadership of Dr. A.R. Bernard, Sr. She thanks God for those He has placed in her life at "His” appointed time. It is all about being obedient to God, to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding, in all our ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct our paths.

She attended Samuel J. Tilden H.S. and graduated with honors in June, 1973. She worked for 27 years at J.P. Morgan Chase. In January, 1981 through Chase, she enrolled in an affirmative action program, entitled, "Cornell University Off-Campus College" for one year, where she took several business courses that helped to aid her in her career at Chase. She graduated in June, 1982 along with 60 other graduating women and was class speaker at the graduation ceremony.

During her last five years at Chase, she was promoted to an Assistant Treasurer/ Assistant Program Manager in Human resources for one of Chase’s scholarship programs, entitled "Smart Start" where she managed 60 high school graduates, who received full scholarship to one of 10 colleges through Chase and who also worked as employees of the bank. Counseling was a big part of her responsibilities. During her time as program manages, she was nominated through an incentive program at Chase by each person she managed to receive a recognition award for her achievements 75,000 employees from various departments were nominated for their achievements throughout the bank but only 116 won the award.

She was one of the winners and received a cash award, as well a 3- night stay at the Plaza Hotel. After 27 years, she left Chase, in August of 2001. Prior to leaving, she pursued and secured in February, 2001 her license to be a school secretary with the NYC Department of Education. Without a doubt, she knows she was led by God and waited for His direction before leaving Chase and was compensated well for her time there. She currently works since September 10, 2001 as a payroll secretary at a special education school in Brooklyn, P.S. 369K. Truly, this was God’s doing.

For three months she taught a bible study class in her neighborhood. It is a blessing to be able to tell others about the love of God in Christ Jesus. She and her husband Joseph have been married for 20 years. She thanks God for him and the joy he brings to her life. Her favorite scripture is in James 1:17, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows". All that we have and all that we are is a gift from God, so unwrap your gift and glorify God with what He has given you, for we owe it all to Him.
